I’ve always wanted to be able to connect with others through my work. Art has always been an avenue for me to feel seen and heard. Between regulars, people who came back from next year, friends, or those who mentioned they saw my work in a boutique; I’m amazed. Thank you for supporting something so close to my heart. With the overwhelming state of the world, it has been easy for my mind to wander down the rabbit hole of doom. My heart aches for the people that are hurting right now and just the general unknown that 2025 will bring. While I have gratitude that I am healthy and safe, I’m struggling to bring new work to life. Sometimes even functioning is tough. They say that when tragedy hits, artist get to work, and while I want to bring new hope into the world, I’m just not there yet. I hope wherever you are you can find hope in the smallest places, that you can live one moment at a time, and that we come together to support and love each other in the ways we need.

It’s true that you never know what the universe has waiting for you until you experience it. 2024 was filled with firsts - first time finding my work in stores like @target @cvspharmacy @joann_stores First time having three walls to display my work at @ooakchicago First time reaching out to local shops about if they are interested in selling my work, most saying yes! And countless hours trying to push myself outside my comfort zone with meeting new people, friends, and sharing some of my most vulnerable art I’ve been trying to take time to rest, but January has already been busy. Which I’m amazed at given the holiday hangover I was ready for. Thank you for seeing me, believing in my work, and supporting what I love to do everyday. I couldn’t have imagined the opportunities my art would bring me. I’m looking forward to what the universe has waiting for me in 2025 ✨

I’m still recovering from @ooakchicago - in such a beautiful way. Thank you for a memorable show (it was also my birthday during the show - a birthday I’ll always remember ✨). One of a kind was truly a full circle moment for me. As someone who has been wanting to be an artist pretty much their entire life. Much like in this photo - as a kid I went to this same @barnesandnoble on a field trip and wondered if I would ever see my work in the store. And I look back at this year, I see all the moments where I did that. I accomplished the thing I wanted to be the very most, an artist. I had an overwhelming amount of positive comments about my work. It was moment after moment of I did that, I’m doing it, I get to be an artist - people are being moved by my work, something I think most artists try to work towards I put the hours in, to learn and grow, but never would imagine how many of you connect to and see my work. Thank you for supporting what I do so I can continue to live in moments I only dreamt of as a kid.
